THE LONLINESS OF LONLINESS OR THE LONLIERNESS OF YOU

back

I´m lonily, alone but I could change that,
I could run to you at the tip of a hat,
You would open your door show your smile, then your teeth,
And soon I´d be lying undressed there beneath.

As your animal came out, something strange would occur.
Some raw moment of passion quickly turned to a blurr.
With your hunger subdued, so my value deflated.
Desire and rejection in a heartbeat related.

I´d be lonlier then as I quietly redressed,
Trying to drown out the question why I ever said yes.
Still I know I´ll be back like the angel who fell,
Though your darkness is worse than the lights in my hell.
